CATAMARAN OLLIER 60′

CATAMARAN OLLIER 60′

BARGAINI!!!!!An OLLIER design!! Before the prestigious and stainless giants of THE RACE: “club med” and its two sisterships, before the fantastic Orange 2 of 40m!! (holder of the Jules Verne Trophy for several years… There was Hitachi! The bright design and the construction of unmatched quality at the time allowed it to cross time. Long skippered in Day Charter by Eric Dumont (co-skipper of the boat with Laurent Bourgnon), the Ex Original was sold in Holland for an activity of the same kind but the adventure stopped quickly and the boat seized. The current owner (a competent enthusiast) saved the boat and carried out a fantastic restoration work! The boat sails, it is complete and reliable according to him; several videos seem to demonstrate it. Great opportunity for a reasoned day charter activity (in number of passengers)

This boat has a rich history and has had many shapes and sizes

Originally built as hitachi she has competed in races as route du rhum 3rd and route du cafe

The boat has under french flag a matriculation For 25 day passengers as she was doing coorperate events in the fore-last last times of her life

This boat was chartered in the netherlands for day cryises along the dutch islands and was subject to a forfeightire after the previous owner sustained some damage and tried to
claim a large amount of money from the insurance where it was proven to be negligence afterwoch the boat came in our hands
We purchased the vessel with intent to do
Island cleanup and youth training in the pacific and did a full rebuilt
It took 1400 hours to get her in shape
However the availability now of more suitable vessel (more space less fast) and some other personal changes has put telomer on the market we are not looking to sell her with profit and want to see the boat do good as such we sell her at our cost price
List of things we did

All vacuum infusion carbon repairs to hull
(Bows/xbeams/some internal structure)
New ruddders and bearings
Reshaped daggerboards (needs a little repair)
New schrouds
sails (doyle stratis)(main & jib)
New motors : yamaha hightrust outboards with port side dual controls
Two lithium batteries one for each hull for navigation autopilot and lights
A getac waterproof navigation computer running open cpn and squid weather predict with dedicted gps/compass
Complete paintjob (epoxy primer plus LPU) (needs touchy)
Aluminum strut T-bone and boom sandblasted and supercoated
Mast re-serviced rods checked and painted two tone
New anchor & chai (40kg cqr)
Honda eu whisper genset

Internal situation is spartan
Two twin beds on in each hull
Kitchenette to port
Toilet to starboard
New matresses new stove and toilet installed
The boat comes with a hypalon 10′ dinghy and yamaha outboard
The boat is ready to sail!
This summer we had an awesome time sailing the northsea and saw everykind of weather in lightwinds expect windspeed and as soon ast its over 12 knots u can expect to try and double the windspeed she is very balanced and forgiving to sail, for a cat shes very easy to manoeuvre even at low speeds shes tacks pretty good and yes she will lift a hull

All in all our loss will be someones gain to explore the posibilities which are many
